MAC OS how to add a bar

Hi there - I can't for the life of me find out how to add a bar on the Mac OSX version!
I've found a tutorial online for the iPad version, but there's no + button that I can see on my Mac - and there's nothing in the menus that allows me to add a bar.
Any help gratefully received! Many thanks. Vincent

    Hey Vincent, sorry for the late reply! Pressing the space bar should insert new divisions until the measure is full, and then it will insert a new measure. You can also press Command+Shift+M to insert a measure regardless of how full the current one is.
