Hallo,
I would like to add the chord shown in the picture. It uses either the barre or the single finger. Is there another way to accomplish both?
Thanks

    Hey Martin,

The way the app works currently is that bars can only be made between strings that have notes on the same fret. So in your situation, the chord would need to include the note on the 5th fret of the D string to create a bar. When you add the note on the 7th fret, the note on the 5th fret goes away, and so the bar is removed.

This is an unfortunate limitation that I'll try to remove in a future update. It's kind of a complicated change to make, though, and I'm currently busy working on other things at the moment, so it may take a little while before I can get this fixed. Hope this isn't too inconvenient in the mean time.

    Hello Jarod,
thanks for your fast reply! This should be fine for now since it’s not something to be used in every measure. But how can I add more than 4 notes at the same time?

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean -- could you be more specific? The chord chart you posted shows a tuning with four strings, so the only way to add more than four notes at once would be to add more strings to the tuning. Is that what you mean?

Yes, but it would not be a Ukulele chord with more than 4 strings.

I'm not too sure how you could have more notes than strings! Could you maybe give me an example of what you're trying to notate?

I’m trying to add this chord but I can do either the barre or the third finger.

Ah, I see what you mean. Apologies for the confusion. That's the problem -- more than four notes can't currently be added, so the chord chart you're trying to make can't be created until I fix this in a future update.
